The Foxy Sweater Scarf by the super talented Olga Putano is a clever twist on that classic hand knit staple, the scarf!
It's knitted from one end to the other, to create a very long scarf with a sleeve on each end. It can be worn with the fabric crossing at the front or back and is a nice accessory to have with you when you’re not sure if you’ll get cold enough for a sweater. The stitch pattern on the body is very easy and addicting to knit! The ribbed sleeves are worked in the round and the body flat, with the border picked up as the finishing touch and ribbing is worked for a few rounds. Great project for mindless or travel/car knitting!

I recommend alternating skeins every few rows so that the colors blend properly. I know it’s a pain but you will be so much happier in the end. Do it for your sanity and your finished object.
Also, though technically true that superwash bases are machine washable on a gentle cycle, why not be kind and hand wash them? They’ll last longer! You’ve spent time and money to create your beautiful new object. It deserves a little extra love and care! Always lay flat to dry.
Also, also, I’ve tried really hard to photograph the yarns so that the color shows correctly. Unfortunately, you all can’t look at the lovely pics on my monitor. If you are unsure about a color/have questions please let me know. I will be happy to help!
All packages are shipped via USPS First Class, unless weighing over 13 oz. In this case, they’ll be shipped USPS Priority. Orders generally ship within 1-3 business days of purchase. For dye to order purchases, please allow 3-4 weeks for shipment.
You will receive an email notification as soon as your item is packaged and ready to ship, along with a tracking number. Tracking info may take 1-2 days to appear on the USPS web site. International shipments cannot be tracked after they have left the US.
